Welding machines used for Shielded Metal Arc Welding are normally known as stick welders. This is one of the most widely used welding processes in which the flux that covers the electrode melts during the process. We offer the PowerARC 200 for stick welding. But it should be noted that most of the Everlast units have stick capability built right into them.
The PowerARC 200 unit is a compact portable package complete with a carrying strap. These units are ideal for the hobbyist, general repair, fabrication, commercial industrial, factory maintenance and agricultural usage. The recommended maximum electrode size for the PowerARC 200 is 3/16". The rated output dc amps @ 60% duty cycle is 200 amps and the Input Voltage/phase is 220 V 1 phase.
The PowerARC200 uses IGBT modules from Infinion which allows for low power consumption that is a cost cutting measure to the end user. This welder features Hot Start and Adaptive ARC force control in addition to an extra port for using E6010 Electrodes.
