The Everlast PowerARC 161STH is a digitally controlled, dual voltage 160 amp stick and DC ONLY TIG welder that is light and portable and is ideal for making repairs and doing daily welding chores around the shop.  The IGBT inverter design of the PowerARC 161STH provides a stable arc, with equal performance between TIG and stick. Not only is this unit capable of 6010/cellulose welding, it also has VRD (voltage reduction) and ANTI-ELECTRODE STICK function for greater safety. With the PowerARC 161STH, you can choose how much ARC FORCE and HOT START you use according to your style of welding as well as considering your welding environment. As well as HF START, the PowerARC 161STH offers LIVE LIFT which keeps your tungsten "LIVE" when a pedal or torch switch is not an option. PREFLOW, DOWNSLOPE and POST FLOW make this unit almost perfect. ARC CYCLE control with the option of selecting 2T or 4T and simple to use PULSE FUNCTION with adjustable PULSE FREQUENCY boost the PowerARC 161STH to the next level in performance.

Product Notes:

1) Use only with generators that are certified as clean power (5% total harmonic distortion) by the generator manufacturer. Use with at least 3500 watt generator for 120V use, and a 6500 watt generator for 240V use. Damage to units caused by underrated, or "dirty" power generators is not covered under warranty.

2) This unit is DC output only. It is not designed to weld Aluminum in TIG mode.
