Welding is an integral process of most engineering and production units. Various mechanisms are employed. Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding or Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) is a welding process which primarily uses tungsten electrodes to produce the weld. This tungsten electrode is a non consumable item in the process of welding. Such a welding mechanism is used mostly to weld non ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, magnesium, and welding thin sections of stainless steel. TIG welding results in stronger and high quality welding outputs as compared to other welding mechanisms
